Level 3 Certificate in Dyslexia - who is this course for?This course is open to anyone who feels they may benefit from learning more about dyslexia. You may be:
The aim of the course is to improve peoples understanding, awareness and perception of dyslexia.
What will people learn from the course?
It will give people a greater understanding of what dyslexia means: identifying the key characteristics of dyslexia; developing an understanding of the problems individuals with dyslexia face; and learning about how IT and other resources can greatly assist many people with dyslexia.
Where is the course held?
The course runs regularly at the Indigo Dyslexia Centre. However, should an organisation be able to present six or more candidates wishing to do the course it is possible to run it at your location at a time to suit.
How long does the course run for?
The course will run on one afternoon a week for six weeks, with students able to use the facilities and resources provided at the Indigo Dyslexia Centre.
What kind of teaching methods are used?
The teaching will be very focused, with only a limited number of students on the course at any one time. The tutor is a dyslexia specialist, so students can be safe in the knowledge that the teaching and support they receive is of the best quality.
What kind of assessment does the course involve?
The course is 100% coursework based, so that skills learnt through the duration of the course can be put into practice.

The course cost is £345.
